Any Given Wednesday n.1

For a while I've been wanting to try my hand at some kind of regular web comic. For fun and as something to get me drawing regularly, I kept putting it off, but my Battlestar pic (and my dabbling with Quill Pen inking) got me motivated enough to bang out strip number one. I kinda plan (hope? pray?) that I'll do one a week for a while.

I can't quite figure out how to draw good round word balloons in Photoshop however. So I'm not very happy with how those came out.

I'm also not sold on the name "Any Given Wednesday" either. Mostly because a quick Google search tells me it was used for a bad parody movie back in the late 90s.

Anyway, did you know there aren't any regular webcomics about Comic Shops and Comic Humor specifically? (or at least as far as I've been able to find and I've looked) Oh sure, lots of comics about table gaming and most popular webcomics do comicbook humor, but nothing that focuses on the comic book fandom/sales side of things. That baffles me to no end. Perhaps this will pan out and I'll fill a gaping niche someday. But I doubt it.
