[link]I felt that I needed more inking and coloring practice, so I decided to just grab something and go with it. I've been practicing drawing lately, but I'm not really getting anywhere, so I figured some practice over someone else's pencils might be worth trying. People make money inking every day after all.
I ended up printing out the sketch, then inking over top of it on a sheet of trace paper.
Inking wise, my line weights are all over the place per the usual, I spent more time cleaning up lines in Photoshop then I did the actual drawing. But I think from a distance it doesn't look half bad. It was kind of a pain in the ass to Ink too, because the under sketch and the trace paper were sliding away from each other, probably should have tapped the sketch to my drawing surface before putting the trace paper over it to ink.
Coloring wise, its more of the same, my trying to figure out light sources and how to use multiply layers better.
This was fun to do, but I'm pretty sure I spent about 5 hours on it.
